NO! Students are welcome at any and all of our programs. We do ask that students fill out a membership card (Green Card) both for communication and statistical purposes. Further, only students who have filled out membership cards will be allowed to vote in annual undergraduate student elections

NO! Hillel's mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduate and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. Hillel student leaders, professionals and lay leaders are dedicated to creating a pluralistic, welcoming and inclusive environment for Jewish college students, where they are encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually and socially. Hillel helps students find a balance in being distinctively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world) and Jewish learning, and to support Israel and global Jewish peoplehood. Hillel is committed to excellence, innovation, accountability and results.
You can get involved as little or as much as you want. Come to one event. Come to all events. The Hillel Student Club Board meetings (usually held on Monday nights) are open to everyone. These meetings set the pace for the overall Jewish community at Stony Brook. But that's just one of our many committees. Wether you are interested in Israel, Traditional Judaism, Shabbat Services, Community Service or Social programs, there is somethng for everyone.
Of course! We welcome everyone at Hillel, regardless of religious background. If you'd like to learn more about Judaism we can assist you but if you'd rather just stil to social and cultural programs, that's great too.
We offer a limited amount of in-house fellowships a year. This year, they are all filled.
We also are always looking for JiLLs (Jewish Life Liaisons) to organize creative, engaging programs in the residence halls. For more information, contact Joy Werner.
The Collegiate Leadership Internship Program is offered to all college students enrolled in a NY institution or who permanently reside in NY. For information on this summer program, go to http://www.hillel.org/careers/fellowships/clip/default.

Some of these amenities include: student computers with interenet access and color printing, sitting areas for studying or spending time with friends (or napping!), a foosball table, video player, and XBOX360 gaming system. Of course there is also always food here.
