Debbi Moalemi

Debbi Moalemi

President

My name is Debbi Moalemi! I am a Senior Psychology B.S. major on the Pre-med track, and I am from Great Neck. My interests include singing, acting, and anything adventurous. I have been a part of this club since my freshman year, and have learned and grown so much because of it. My favorite part of JSA/Hillel is the incredibly warm and open atmosphere that we have, and the fact that we share something so great with whoever wants to be a part of it. Everyone is welcome, and every event has something different you can gain from it. If you have any questions or just want to talk, let me know! I'm always happy to help or just hang out!

Shalom Seawolves! I'm Sam Novotny, and I am a senior biology major on the pre-med track. I’m from Dix Hills and live on campus. My interests include skiing, traveling, and going to the beach. When I joined JSA, I immediately found friends and a home away from home. I'm looking forward to developing and expanding Jewish life on campus and to providing social, cultural, and religious opportunities for all students.

Get ready for a great year! Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or want to talk.

Sarah Levovitz

Sarah Levovitz

Treasurer

Hello! My name is Sarah Levovitz and I am this year’s Hillel treasurer. I am currently a sophomore in the WISE honors program. I am majoring in biomedical engineering with a minor in studio art. When I came to Stony Brook last year, I felt so welcomed by everyone at Hillel. Now that I am a board member, I want to make all new people at Hillel feel as welcomed as I was. Being a part of Hillel feels like being part of a family, and I want as many people to join our family as possible. I’m so excited for all of our upcoming events. I hope to see you soon!
