Hillel is thrilled to provide a warm, welcoming and home-like experience for students on Shabbat. Twice a month, we provide FREE meals for students throughout Shabbat at our fun and festive Shabbatons. These meals include Shabbat dinner, Saturday afternoon lunch and often a Third Shabbat Meal.
On non-Shabbaton weekends, students are also encouraged to host their own meals and we provide subsidy for food as well as a supply of challah and grape juice. Our students love the chance to create the own Shabbat experience for themselves and their peers.
Delancey Street Kosher Restaurant is glatt kosher under the supervision of the Vaad Harabonim of Queens, Rabbi Yoel Adelman Rav Hamachshir.
