All entries require an artist statement

 

Israel Love Fest is a challenge of expression allowing students to express your love for all things Israel. Students are invited to enter submissions in a variety of forms: written, performance, photography, film/video, visual art, and music.

Israel Love Fest will culminate with a campus-wide viewing of all submissions and a reception announcing this years winners on Wednesday, November 8th from 4:00pm - 5:30pm in SAC Ballroom A.

 

Criteria for Submissions 

All submissions must include an artist statement of at least 5 sentences.

 

WRITING: All entries must be written in English and/or Hebrew ONLY!
All written entries must include a title of the work and include page numbers if necessary.
Short Story: 3,000 word count limit
Essays: 1,000 word count limit
Poetry: 500 word count limit 
 
PHOTOGRAPHY: Submissions may not exceed 3 images individually sized up to 11"x14"
If multiple images are being submitted, they must be submitted in a format that allows the judges to view as a whole.
After judging, submissions may be requested in original size in a high resolution format (typically 150-300dpi / 1MB or larger)  
 
VISUAL ARTS: Submissions may not exceed more than 3 images individually sized up to 11"x14" (2D) or 3 feet (3D)
If multiple images are being submitted, they must be submitted in a format that allows the judges to view as a whole.
3D work must be initially submitted via photograph.
After judging, submissions may be requested in original form or size in a high resolution format (typically 150-300dpi / 1MB or larger) 
 
FILM/VIDEO: All entries should be no more than 5 minutes.
Viewing area for optimal resolution of initial entry should not exceed the screen size of a standard computer monitor.
Original music compositions and video productions are eligible.  
 
PERFORMANCE: All entries should be no more than 5 minutes.
Entries must be submitted digitally for screening. 
 
MUSICAL COMPOSITIONS: All entries should be no more than 5 minutes.
Submissions must be in a high quality audio file.
