Internships

Hillel uses a philosophy known as engagement to connect with students and help that have experiences that are personally meaningful.  Engagement is the act of reaching others, getting to know them, and connecting with them on the basis of their interests, ambitions, and passions. Hillel works to engage all Jewish students, seeking first to understand them, and then to identify common interests, offerings, or experiences that meet them where they are.

With a focus on relationships and not on participation, we create vibrant, relevant, Jewish life across campus, enhancing the accessibility of Jewish experiences for all students through conversations with peers.

We currently offer several internships at Stony Brook Hillel that allow you be an integral part of our leadership team. Past interns have found these experiences to be a transformitive part of their college experience.
