Hi! I’m Sarah, and I’m excited to be this year’s Jewish Student Association president. I am currently a senior majoring in biomedical engineering with a minor in studio art, and I’m in the Women in Science and Engineering honor’s program. I got involved with Hillel as soon as I started school at Stony Brook because I knew that it was somewhere I would feel at home. I was JSA treasurer during both my sophomore and junior year, and I’m very excited to be moving on to the role of president. Hillel has provided me with the opportunity to make friends and explore my Jewish identity, and as president, I hope to encourage other students to take advantage of this opportunity. See you in the Hillel office!
Hey! I’m Andrew, and aside from being the Assistant Sports Editor and Football Beat Writer for the SB Statesman, I’m the Vice President of JSA. Being a journalism major definitely has helped prepare me for this role, making sure things run smoothly. I look forward to an awesome year!
Hi! I’m Ashley and I am a senior majoring in Political Science. I am serving as secretary of JSA this year. I cannot wait to be involved as secretary and make this year with JSA a great one! I look forward to working with everyone!
Hi, I’m Dan Pfrang, the current JSA treasurer. I am a senior majoring in biomedical engineering and applied mathematics and statistics. I am also a member of the Stony Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps. My hobbies include working out, wood working, and playing the ukulele. I am very excited to work on all the wonderful events that we will be planning for this year.
