Delancey Street Glatt Kosher Restaurant

Delancey Street Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 12:00pm - 7:00pm

Friday: 12:00pm - 3:00pm

During non-business hours, or if you are unable to get to Delancey Street, you can still enjoy kosher food on campus.  Every morning Delancey Street staff members prepare fresh meals for the SAC (Student Activities Center) food court, Emporium Grab-and-Go (East Side Dining) and the West Side Dining food court.

Here is the daily menu of Kosher-To-Go options.

You are also able to customize your meal by placing an order at least 24 hours in advance.

Orders for Kosher meals can be placed here.

On Saturday and Yom Tov, you will not have to swipe your card to pay for a pre-ordered meal. The cashier will ask for your name and charge you by entering your ID number, which is located on the order form.

Shabbat Meals

Hillel is thrilled to provide a warm, welcoming and home-like experience for students on Shabbat. About every other week, we provide FREE meals for students on Friday evenings and occasional options for Saturday lunch and/or third meal.

On non-Shabbaton weekends, students are also encouraged to host their own meals and we provide subsidy for food as well as a supply of challah and grape juice. Our students love the chance to create the own Shabbat experience for themselves and their peers.

First year students: If you feel that you require an exemption from the first-year meal plan due to the need for Kosher food, you will need approval from Jennifer Handel (631-632-6565). (More information about meal plans here)

Delancey Street Kosher Restaurant is glatt kosher under the supervision of the Vaad Harabonim of Queens, Rabbi Yoel Adelman Rav Hamachshir.
