Ambassador Dennis Ross at the 2024 Jewish University speaking on the future of Israel and the Middle East

Jewish University for a Day is an annual event at Stony Brook University on Long Island that brings together leading authors, academics, rabbis, public figures, journalists and others in a day-long series of mini-courses and presentations centered around Jewish themes. The event, sponsored by Stony Brook Hillel, is now entering its 14th year and has drawn in hundreds of attendees over the years.

This year’s presenters include Sarah Hurwitz and Dr. Pam Nadell on Antisemitism in America, a live performance of Judaism’s greatest hits by Rabbi Josh Gray and Meghan Gray, and an appearance by newly inaugurated Stony Brook University President Andrea Goldsmith.

We're excited to host JU in the university's Student Union which also serves as the home of the campus Hillel, and which includes convenient free parking adjacent to the building and university security.
