kosher On Campus

Delancey Street Deli is located in East Side Emporium and offers made-to-order fan favorites like a spicy chicken wrap, salads, and breakfast sandwiches! Grab and go options are also be available during Shabbat and after hours. Delancey Street Deli is glatt kosher under the supervision of the Vaad Harabonim of Queens.

Hillel is partnering with FSA to ensure that all Jewish students have access to Kosher food while at Stony Brook University! There are a few different accommodation options to give you the best dining experience for you.

  1. Receive an exemption from the mandatory meal plan and switch to a full dining-dollars meal plan that can be used at Delancey. This is ideal for students who ONLY eat hechshered food.

  2. Switch to the general kosher meal plan that allows for two swipes per day at Delancey and unlimited swipes at dine-in. This is ideal for students who only eat kosher meat, but are willing to eat non-hechshered vegetarian food.

  3. Switch your block meal plan to have all your swipes be usable ONLY at Delancey. This is ideal for students who ONLY eat hechshered food and have off-campus meal options.
